From walking in, I was greeted with a smile by a lady (sorry, I didnt catch her name) and Lee. Lee ensured I was looked after and served immediately. Superb guy - very helpful. Mike prepared a fabulous carvery and was very pleasant. Thank you very much. I would definitely highly recommend.

Very poor food, fish and chips was hard and over cooked. Hunters Chicken was dry, chips cold. Will not eat there again

Came in today with no booking, the pub was completely full and we really didn’t want to look for anywhere else, especially not after seeing the carvery looking so good!
The lovely manager, Sam, on the door managed to squeeze us in, and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were looked after!
The food was piping hot and delicious. Very highly recommended, we will just make sure to book ahead next time!

Been coming here once a month with the lads since July 2024. Carvery is great, can't complain for what you get. Cakeaway is good as well, massive slices.
Gutted last time as we were told our table time had ran out after just 1.5 hours, shame really as it cut our conversation short. Oh well can't be helped I suppose.

Couldn't fault the service today. Arrived with family no booking made and Emma the waitress and Levi couldn't be more helpful. They rearrange the tables for us so we could all sit together and was so helpful. Emma and Levi was fantastic. Thankyou for always being so caring and always ready to go the extra step. Emma has served us a few times and every time has been the same

Visited a few times now within 4 years staff always friendly bar staff was a little faster this time than previous times I've been food the only downside was not much veg on carvery option my son only eats peas and they didn't have them on basic carrots ,broccoli ,cauliflower which was a bit hard for my liking but overall cheaper than previous places for a standard carvery drinks are priced at same as any other public house place very clean 8/10 ratings

We had a lovely early evening meal with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson. The food was really tasty and the staff we engaged with were very friendly and attentive. They even managed to find us an alternative table in a quieter section of the pub.
